We have dedicated this week’s blog to ‘FAQ’s’ because we know that ordering a blind can seem very daunting to start with but it really doesn’t have to be. Here at Blinds4udirect we will do everything we can to make the whole process as smooth and stress free as possible.

Which blind you order depends on a few things:


Practicality
If you are ordering a blind for a bathroom it is really important that it is suited to the environment. An easy wipe vertical or roller blind is the best option for this - these are the Unilux range.
If verticals or roller blinds are not your thing we now offer PVC woods which are selling really well. It is, however, important that these blinds do not go in hot environments like conservatories because they will warp. They are perfect for bathrooms and kitchens.

Design.
This all depend on whether you want a plain or patterned blind. We produce just about every colour you can think of here, so we’re sure we have something for you. If you are looking for a patterned roller blind, there are lots to choose from with the possible added extra of providing you with complete blackout properties, depending on the material you choose.
Wooden blinds work well in traditional and modern homes. Customers who are looking for a wooden blind in a traditional environment tend to go for the dark wooden colours with the grain effect whereas the whites, creams and greys give off a modern feel especially if in a gloss finish.
Vertical blinds are great if you have larger windows and patio doors. They now offer many colours and patterns. Take a look at the large range on the website to find out which one will work in your home.

 

What colour will work well in my home?
We offer free samples so that you can be 100% happy with the product that you receive, including the colour. Many colours can show up differently on your computer depending on the colour settings that you have switched on so we offer free samples to avoid any issues.

How can I be sure I am measuring correctly?
We have created an area on the website giving measuring instructions for all the blinds that we sell. It is really important that you measure correctly as they are made to measure blinds so cannot be returned if the error is on your part. With the wonders of technology YouTube is a great way to help out with any other measuring questions you may have.

I need to change something on my order is this ok?
We will do everything we can to get the perfect product to you and will change anything on your order if it has not already been started. We send a confirmation email when printing off your order so please check this carefully and let us know of any changes you may need A.S.A.P so that you can be 100% happy with your blind.
