Happy Halloween week!
We thought that this would be a great blog for you to have a look through this week all about Halloween.
This one night is thought to be the one night of the year when ghosts, witches and fairies are especially active! One of the little one’s favourite traditions is ‘Tick or Treating’ this is where children will go around knocking on doors dressed up as scary creatures or ghouls. In recent years many people have complained and do not wish to take part in the event however, the police have now created signs so that children can respect their wishes. Many people still wish to take part in the tradition by decorating their homes and buying yummy goodies for the little ones. (We have added a sign below if you do not wish to take part in the halloween events) This is an official poster from the policing unit and can be printed or collected from the local police station.
Like myself as a mum of two you may be a little worried about how many sweets your little one eats over this holiday period. We thought it would be a brilliant idea to provide some healthy but fun ideas to have the perfect Halloween, below are a few of our favourites that you can also get your little ones involved in.
Please let us know if you do make any of these healthy yummy treats we would love to see your pictures posted on our Facebook page!
Thank you for reading and Happy Halloween.
