A great way to personalise your vertical blinds is by having mixed slat, you can choose any vertical slat colour or pattern to go with any other vertical slat colour or pattern. You can have as many different slats as you like and you can have them dispersed in whichever way you like – it’s completely up to you, the possibilities are endless!
Nina Whisp and Splash Paper are my first two examples of materials that would work perfectly as mixed slats, the plain material breaks up the delicate pattern of the Nina fabric making it a more gentle statement.
This is Como Lago and Carnival Navy, as you can see this is a great example of where mixed slats work really well as part of the room and how you can incorporate the furniture and accessories to maximise each others beauty. The colours in Como Lago are the perfect statement for a contemporary home.
How about trying this girly little collection? Splash powder, ribbon orange and splash candy, this would look really nice in a little girls room, the plain dusty pink shades pick up and style perfectly next to the patterned fabric. This is a great example of how the colours can compliment each other to create a completely unique blind.
You could even choose two materials the same but in their slightly different colour ways as shown here with Hampton Sea Breeze and Hampton Silver sand.
You also don’t have to have one slat colour then a change, you could choose to have 3 x one slat colour 1 x slat colour 3 x slat colour 1 x slat colour etc as shown above. The possibilities really are endless.
