Schools Out for Summer 2017

The holidays can also be a tricky time to entertain the kids – 6 longs weeks! Amongst us here at Blinds4udirect we have lots of little ones so we did some thinking and came up with some ideas for what you can do with your kids this summer to help keep them entertained:

Schools Out for Summer 2017   1. Have a picnic - simple put effective, round up a few friends, make (with the kids) some delicious fingers food and get down to your local park, the children will be able to run around until the tire themselves out and you can sit and chat with the parents – win win!
2. Plant flowers in your garden – you could get there green fingers going by planning some flowers or vegetables in the garden. You’ll stimulate them and you’ll be able to watch them as they grow (and eat the rewards)   Schools Out for Summer 2017

Visit the beach and collect shells - we are based in Norfolk so for us this would be a fairly achievable one as we are close by and definitely a good laugh, the kids can run about the beach and you can sit back and enjoy a Mr Whippy (yum!). You can then go home and create some beautiful artwork with your findings, stationary shops like Hobby craft sell things like plain boxes which you could get and decorate with the shells. Hours of entertainment.
4. You could get the kids involved in making dinner, less work for you and lots of fun for them. A family favorite in our home is homemade pizzas, you can buy the bases from your local supermarket and then let them go crazy with the toppings. Pizza partyyyyyyy!   Schools Out for Summer 2017

6. Visit a themepark – there are loads of great theme parks around the UK, they can be pricey but lots of them do deals so just out there website before going to get the most out of your trip
